Are my images uploaded?
No. Compression runs entirely in your browser using your own device. You can switch off Wi-Fi after the page loads and it still works.
Is there a file or daily limit?
No. There is no limit on file count or size other than your device’s memory.
Which format gives the smallest files?
WebP is usually 25–35% smaller than JPG at the same visual quality and works in every modern browser. Use JPG when you need maximum compatibility.
Does it remove location data (EXIF)?
Yes. Re-encoding drops EXIF metadata such as GPS location and camera details. The photo is rotated correctly first, so it will not appear sideways.
