The short version
The files you open in our tools are processed by your own browser and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. We do not ask you to create an account. The site is paid for by ads, and the ad provider (Google) may use cookies as described below.
Your files
Images, PDFs and videos you select are read and converted inside the browser tab on your device. They are not sent to a server, not stored by us and not visible to us. When you close or reload the tab, they are gone from the page. The downloads you save go straight to your own device.
Information collected automatically
Like every website, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, receives technical request data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. Cloudflare uses this to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
The video tool downloads its encoder program from jsDelivr, a public code CDN, the first time you use it. jsDelivr receives a normal request from your browser (including your IP address) but never your video. See the jsDelivr Privacy Policy.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

Because we do not hold your files or an account for you, there is usually no personal data of yours for us to access, correct or delete. If you have a question about data, including rights under GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA, email us and we will answer.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA) and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
