What size does Discord allow?
Free Discord accounts can send files up to 10 MB. Nitro Basic raises it to 50 MB. Pick the preset with a little headroom.
Is my video uploaded?
No. The encoder runs inside your browser tab. The only download is the encoder itself (about 31 MB, cached after the first use).
Why is it slower than desktop apps?
Browser encoding uses one CPU core, so a 1-minute 1080p clip can take a few minutes. Lower the resolution to speed it up. Keep this tab open while it runs.
The result looks blurry. What can I do?
Long videos squeezed into a small size get very few bits per second. Lower the resolution (720p or 480p) or choose a bigger target. Fewer pixels at the same size looks sharper.
